Create dial-up with "Set up a dial-up connection" so that regular user cannot change phone # or settings.
Client wants me to enter dialup number for internal modem and prevent other users from changing it. Windows Vista laptop. He wants it grayed out so that non-administrative users can not enter a 2nd number to dial to. How can I gray it out, or is there another solution? This is not the dial-up available in IE, but the dial-up created in Network and Sharing Center. bill westman

Hi, Thanks for posting in Microsoft TechNet forums. I believe the grayed out settings are controlled by the modem drivers. While you can set rules according your situation.
